Ambassador programme rules
Version of 16.10.2026
These rules apply to any VisitCard account holder who recommends VisitCard with their personal link or code (“the ambassador”). VisitCard is operated by Fiducium Sàrl. The ambassador accepts them before their first payout request; VisitCard’s general terms apply otherwise.
1. Participation
The programme is free and open to every VisitCard account, except accounts linked to a white-label organisation and team member accounts. One ambassador account per person.
2. Attribution
A customer is attributed to the ambassador whose link they clicked (remembered for 60 days in their browser) or whose code they entered at checkout. Until their first payment, the last link clicked or the code entered wins. At the first payment, the attribution becomes final: a customer has only one ambassador. A customer who had already paid VisitCard is not attributed, nor is a customer whose first payment comes more than 90 days after the recommendation.
3. Split and discount
The ambassador splits 30% between their commission and their customer’s discount, in 5% steps (20% and 10% by default). A change applies only to new customers. The customer’s discount covers their first year (12 months on monthly billing, the first invoice on annual billing) and is never combined with another offer: the better one applies. During the launch offer (Pro annual at 42 for the first year, until 31.12.2026), the commission on that offer is set at 20%.
4. Commission
The commission is calculated on the amount actually paid by the customer, excluding VAT and after discounts, for each invoice of their first 12 months of subscription. No commission on a trial period, a zero invoice or a renewal beyond 12 months. Prices displayed on the site include VAT where applicable: in countries where VAT applies, the commission is therefore lower than on the displayed price.
5. Holding period, refunds and disputes
Each commission stays pending for 30 days after the payment, then becomes available. A refund, a credit note or a disputed payment cancels the corresponding pending commission, pro rata; if it was already available, paid out or used as credit, the amount is deducted from subsequent earnings. A negative balance blocks payouts until it is positive again.
6. Payouts
Available earnings can be used at any time as credit on the ambassador’s VisitCard subscription. They are paid out as money only to an ambassador registered as a company or as self-employed, who provides their registration number (for example, in Switzerland, their UID number or AHV self-employed certificate; elsewhere, their VAT or company number) and sends their own invoice, addressed to Fiducium Sàrl, for an amount equal to the requested payout, VAT included where applicable; VisitCard never issues an invoice on their behalf. The transfer is requested from 50 CHF or 50 EUR available in the same currency, with accurate details (name, address, IBAN). A private individual receives no cash payout: their earnings remain available, can be used as credit, and can be paid out to them as soon as they meet these conditions. The first payout is checked manually. Each payout comes with a statement, which mentions the ambassador’s invoice, and each year with an annual statement. Earnings bear no interest. A private individual can convert their available earnings into Galaxus gift vouchers (in CHF) or Amazon gift vouchers (in EUR; German, French, Italian or Spanish store), worth 50, 100, 150 or 200, up to 500 per calendar year (CHF and EUR added together), one request at a time, with a confirmed email address. Only available commissions whose customer payment is at least 60 days old and whose customer is still subscribed, with no refund, credit note or payment dispute, count. The amount is reserved when requested; the first request is checked manually; VisitCard buys the voucher and provides its code in the ambassador space, or refuses the request (the amount becomes available again). A voucher that has been sent is neither taken back nor exchanged for money; if an included payment is refunded later, the deduction applies to subsequent earnings (article 5).
7. Taxes and VAT
The commission is calculated on the amount paid by the customer excluding VAT. Amounts paid to the ambassador are final amounts, VAT included where applicable: if the ambassador is subject to VAT, it is included in these amounts, and no VAT is added on top. Earnings are income of the ambassador, who alone is responsible for declaring them and, where applicable, for VAT. Gift vouchers are given as a referral gift, not as a salary; VisitCard does not guarantee their tax or social-security treatment, which the ambassador checks with their tax authority or accountant if needed.
8. Prohibited practices
Self-referral (own account, own company, own payment card, fake accounts); paid ads on the word “VisitCard” and its variants; coupon-code sites; unsolicited messages; misleading promises; use of the VisitCard brand suggesting official representation.
9. Transparency
The ambassador clearly discloses the partnership in their content (“ad”, “partnership”, #ad), in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act against Unfair Competition (UCA) and social-network rules.
10. Review and suspension
VisitCard may review attributions, refuse or cancel a commission that breaches these rules, suspend an ambassador (earnings held during the review) or end the programme. Available earnings acquired in good faith remain due.
11. Personal data
Payout details (including status and registration number) are encrypted; they and ambassadors’ invoices, kept in a private storage area, are used only for payouts, their statements and accounting (see the privacy policy). Referred customers are shown to the ambassador only by their first name and the initial of their last name, and in statements by a customer number.
12. Changes and governing law
VisitCard may change these rules; the new version applies to future commissions and must be accepted before the next payout. Swiss law.
