How it works
- 01
Photograph the card
From Contacts → “Scan a card” on your dashboard, or from your personal scan link, added to your phone’s home screen.

Check the fields
Name, job title, company, email and phone are pre-filled. You correct what needs correcting: nothing is saved before your review.

Save the contact
It joins your address book, marked “Scanned”, alongside the contacts received through your card. You can export it as CSV.

The whole team
With Team, every member has their own scanner and scan link. Scanned contacts go to their card: the member and the team owner can see them.
Your visitors too
On your card, the “Send My Details” form can be filled in with a photo of the visitor’s card. They check, then send, with the same consent boxes.
To your CRM — Is your address book connected to HubSpot, Pipedrive or bexio? Contacts are sent there just like those received through your card (Pro).

Frequently asked questions
Is the scanner included in the free plan?
The Starter plan gets 3 free scans in total, from the dashboard. The full scanner is included in the Pro and Team plans, and in the 14-day Pro trial you get when you sign up, with no credit card.
Is the photo of the card kept?
No. It is sent to an artificial intelligence service only to read the card; VisitCard stores it neither in its database nor in its logs. Only the contact you have checked is saved.
How many cards can I scan?
Up to 30 scans per day and per account, 10 during a free trial. The scan link and the photos sent by your visitors count towards this limit.
Do I need to install an app?
No. The scanner works in your phone’s browser. Your personal scan link can be added to the home screen: it then opens like an app.
What if something is misread?
A blurred photo or a very graphic card can cause errors. That is why nothing is saved before your review: you correct the fields, then save.
