In “NFC cards” on your dashboard, order a card in your design: its chip is already linked to your digital card. Or write the link to the chip of your choice with a free app such as NFC Tools or NFC TagWriter.

Your contact holds their phone to your NFC card: the phone offers to open your digital card, and they save your details to their contacts.
Why go through VisitCard rather than a fixed chip
The medium of your choice
NFC card, key ring, sticker on the back of your phone or of a paper card, stand on a trade-show booth: any rewritable NFC medium will do.
The QR code as back-up
Some phones have no NFC, or have it switched off. Your VisitCard QR code leads to the same card: print it on the same medium, or show it on your screen.
Know what the chip brings in
Add ?src=nfc to the end of the link on the chip: the visits it brings show up as “NFC” in your statistics (Pro).

Does VisitCard sell NFC cards?
Yes. In “NFC cards” on your dashboard, order a card in the design of your digital card, with a chip already linked to your account: nothing to activate. CHF 34.90 for the first, CHF 19.90 for each additional card in the same order, delivery included; delivered to Switzerland and Liechtenstein within 7 to 12 working days. Any rewritable NFC chip works too.
Which NFC chip should I choose?
A rewritable NTAG213 or NTAG215 chip will do: its memory is more than enough for your card’s link. They come as cards, stickers or key rings.
Do I need to rewrite the chip when my details change?
No. The chip only holds your card’s link: you edit the card online, and the chip always leads to the up-to-date version. You would only need to rewrite it if you changed the address of the card itself.
Should I lock the chip?
It is recommended, so that nobody else can erase or change it. Locking is permanent, but since your card’s link does not change, you will not need to rewrite it.
Does my contact need to install an app?
No. On a compatible phone, your card opens in the browser. They can then save your details to their contacts.
Is NFC possible on the free plan?
Yes: your card’s link can be written to an NFC chip from the free Starter plan. The Pro plan adds statistics by source, including “NFC”, and up to 5 cards.
