Both passes, from one card

Apple Wallet only exists on iPhone. On Android, Google Wallet is the app that stores your cards and tickets. VisitCard creates both passes from your digital business card, so everyone adds it to the Wallet on their own phone.

On your phone, open your public card (visitcard.app/c/your-name): Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android.
Below the sharing buttons, the “Wallet” section shows the right button: “Apple Wallet” on iPhone, “Google Wallet” on Android, both on a computer.
On iPhone, confirm in the system prompt: the pass is added to the Wallet app. On Android, sign in to your Google account if asked, then save.
At a meeting, open Wallet and show the pass: the other person scans the QR code with their camera and your card opens.

Name, job title, company and contact details, with a QR code that opens your card. The pass displays offline: handy at a trade fair or in a basement.
The Wallet button is on your public card: someone viewing it can store your card in their own Wallet, next to their tickets.
The pass uses your card’s colours. With Pro, it shows your company name instead of the VisitCard mention.
No. Apple Wallet is the iPhone (and Apple Watch) app; Apple does not offer it on Android. An Apple Wallet file (.pkpass) therefore does not open as such on an Android phone. The Android equivalent is Google Wallet, preinstalled on most recent Android phones or available on the Google Play Store.
So for a business card, the answer is not to look for Apple Wallet on Android, but to offer both formats: that is what VisitCard does, showing each person the button for their phone.
The Wallet pass is mainly for you: your QR code is always at hand, even without signal. The person in front of you installs nothing: they scan the QR code with their phone camera. The same QR code can be downloaded from your dashboard for printed material, and an NFC business card opens the same card with a simple tap.
The pass QR code opens your online card, so the other person always sees the latest version. The text shown on the pass itself is the one from when you added it; after a change of name or job title, add the pass again from your card. On iPhone, the new pass replaces the old one.
Good to know — Wallet passes are included in every plan, including the free Starter plan. The step-by-step guide is also in the help centre.
